Celebrate Life in Front of the Backyard Fireplace
Our backyards are places where a lot of events have transpired. Birthday parties have been celebrated in this humble part of the family’s property. Get-togethers with friends and families from all over the place have proven to be a success and a source of fun and laughter. Games have been played with other kids in the neighborhood and knees plus elbows have been skinned while playing touch football. The backyard was the venue of choice for gatherings for people we love and care to celebrate the milestones in their lives. Outdoor and backyard fire pits as well as some elaborate outdoor fireplaces are the thing when we get together, especially this time of year around thanksgiving.
But it is not for a big group of people. In front of the backyard fireplace, the cozy togetherness of the couple has become a testimony to life celebrated while they talk about the happenings in their daily lives – about the kids, school, the workplace and the general reflection on how life is lived. Hopes and dreams were discussed and planned.
It is a different matter though for kids because for them a backyard fireplace is where they can roast hotdogs and marshmallows and where in front, they can huddle while scaring each other out of their wits with ghost stories in the middle of the night while they camp out with other kids, sort of outdoor games and camping we used to do.
